1)      ASK

The answers are within.  Your body’s wisdom wants the best for you.  Begin by talking to your body and asking what you need to know.

Examples of questions to ask:

  • What food(s) does my body need?
  • Is there something I need to add to my diet?
  • Are there vitamins I need?
  • What does my body need?
  • What question(s) would you like to ask your body?

2)      LISTEN

We all have busy lives and it’s hard to spend time just listening. Listening isn’t about meditation it’s about quieting your mind by turning off distractions like TV, cell phones & music. It’s about spending quiet time with you. It is using a muscle you haven’t used in awhile.   Yes, it takes time and patience. Yes, it is worth it.

In the beginning, your answers may be subtle. It could be a feeling, a knowing or hearing an answer. Start paying attention to how your body answers your questions.

3)      ACT

This is the toughest of the three keys. Taking action equals results. Sometimes we get so caught up in our story that we don’t take action or move forward. Sometimes it’s easier to stay stagnant. I know because it happened to me. I felt stuck, not sure where to go or what to do. So standing still was easier than doing anything.

What I learned is that I needed to take action steps. These steps didn’t need to be big steps. They needed to be steps moving forward instead of standing still. Once I took the steps the universe greeted me and held my hand through the process.

What is your body trying to tell you?
